Our Story
When Salto de Fe founder Emma Wollschlager found herself at a crossroads in life with major personal and professional transitions, she began searching for a new place to call home and a new professional purpose. Throughout her life, Emma felt that she had been “running on the edge of a cliff,” driven by purpose and ambition, but leading to an unyielding momentum that left no room for hesitation or rest. This relentless pace had led to a series of remarkable achievements; however, it came at the expense of peace and spirit.
The life transitions she encountered welcomed a desire to recenter herself and reclaim her life with more intention. Emma embarked on a transformative journey, developing relationships with coaches, teachers, and healers of many physical and intellectual disciplines. Step by step, she discovered practices that nourished her spirit and honored her body, allowing her to slow down for the first time. Then, she found her new home—a 150-acre ranch in Anthony, New Mexico, surrounded by lush alfalfa and pecan fields—truly igniting her vision.
She gained tremendous peace and happiness at the farm, which she wanted to share as a sanctuary for individuals facing change, in need of inspiration or wanting to achieve their next feat. With the creation of Salto de Fe, she offers guests a renewed sense of peace, a profound connection to the land, and a lasting enthusiasm for exploration and adventure. Salto de Fe is more than a retreat; it is a place where individuals can embark on their own transformative journeys, inspired by Emma’s own path to self-discovery and renewal.
