Julio Sanchez De Alba is a Bolivian-born sculptor based in El Paso, Texas. After moving to the United States in 1980, he spent 22 years as a mechanical engineer before discovering his passion for sculpture in 2000. Julio’s work captures the beauty and struggle of life, channeling the essence of his subjects through materials like clay, wax, and bronze. His sculptures have been exhibited at renowned venues, including the Holland and Holland Gallery in New York City and the Epcot Center Galleries in Orlando. He frequently participates in prestigious events such as the Safari Club International Convention and the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition. His work is held in private collections globally, including one owned by President George H.W. Bush. Dedicated to creating large-scale monuments, Julio invites viewers to connect with the universal movement of life and the poignant journey from creation to conclusion.
